Speaking Opportunities
Carrie’s journey to the stage as a keynote didn’t start from a desire. She wasn’t longing for the stage and spotlight. After accepting an opportunity with the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Luncheon in 2013, she was thrown into the fire. She had no idea what she was in for. She wrote a 45-minute keynote, practiced with a keynote speaker coach, and took the stage in front of a few hundred women for the first time.
Since then, she’s had several hundred keynotes in front of thousands. And it never gets easier.
These days, she hits the stage to share her keynote about caregiving for her husband and how she overcame burnout. She calls it “Saving Lives & Doing Dishes.”
