Three Decades of Storytelling
Carrie has been writing professionally for nearly 30 years. Her first published piece was for the Arizona State University newspaper in 1998. Since then, she’s written for local Phoenix newspapers, trade magazines, lifestyle magazines, I, SheKnows.com, the Huffington Post, Huff Post, Medium, and many, many more.
When Carrie first burned out, she shared her experience in an essay for the Huffington Post. It went viral and she knew then she had to write a memoir about her burnout walk.
It took her eight years to finish Unapologetically Enough but she finally released it in 2022, when everyone and their next-door neighbor was burned out from COVID.
She followed that book up quickly with a journal she called The Enoughness Method. And she’s working on her next book about her husband’s cancer journey and her caregiving burnout. Stay tuned!
